Sara Punt is a visual artist and fine art photographer whose work explores the human experience through a distinct visual language of abstraction, contrast, and form. With a background in dance, she developed a deep sensitivity to bodily expression—an understanding that now informs her photographic compositions.
Her imagery features strong black-and-white contrasts and sculptural use of the human body, shaped and styled with the eye of a sculptor rather than a traditional photographer. More recently, she has expanded her practice to include still lifes, continuing her exploration of identity, presence, and the malleable dualities of being human.
Although her work is rooted in fine art, Sara collaborates with brands, creatives, and publications that value thoughtful, visually arresting storytelling. Whether working with bodies or objects, she approaches each project with the same intention : to reveal something raw, intimate, and unexpected.
Drawing inspiration from dancers, sculptors, Surrealism, and the personal narratives of her subjects, she creates a visual world that blurs the line between reality and abstraction. “I strive to create a distant reality,” she says, “a space where the body and form can be seen not only for what it is, but for everything it has the potential to become.”
