Bharat Sikka Biography
Bharat Sikka moved from India to New York to pursue his career in photography and to study at Parsons School of Design. He earned his BFA in photography and since then has been pursuing a career as a fine art photographer. He also featured as one of PDN’s choices for emerging photographers in their March 2002 issue. Sikka takes a fine art approach to portrait photography. His portfolio consists of environmental portraits of “Indian men”, “Urban landscapes” in India and digital images of his personal life. While producing images for himself Sikka has also contributed for magazine like, ID, Vogue Homme International, Details, Wallpaper and Time Magazine where his work was featured as among the best photographs of 2005. Bharat Sikka now lives and works between New Delhi and Europe.
